HOOKS, Texas—Jordan Davis lit up the scoreboard with 21 points as Hooks downed Paul Pewitt.
Mark Reiter added 12 points and the Hornets remain unbeaten in district with a 2-0 record.
Hooks will be back in action on Dec. 27 at the Spring Hill Tournament.
McLeod 56, Union Grove 40
DALLAS—McLeod took advantage of a lopsided second quarter en route to a 16-point win against Union Grove under the bright lights of American Airlines Center before the Dallas Mavericks hosted the Detroit Pistons.
Zach Prince filled up the statsheets with a game-high 29 points and teammate Trevor Deel added another 11 for the Longhorns.
Union Grove's Cade Judd finished with 16 points.
McLeod (17-4) will host Detroit at 7 p.m. today.
Daingerfield 67, DeKalb 62
DeKALB, Texas— Daingerfield escaped a close call with DeKalb on the road, 67-62.
Michael Reeves led Daingerfield with 20 points and Reggie Jeter added 14 points.
Alex Clark led DeKalb with 15 points and DJ Gray contributed 14 points.
DeKalb's junior varsity squad defeated Daingerfield, 51-31.
AJ Burgin led DeKalb with 14 points and Ty Olson added 11 points.
Trinity Christian 66, Fouke 55
FOUKE, Ark.—Trinity Christian defeated Fouke on the road, 66-55.
Colton Youngblood led the Warriors with 16 points and Jakob Martin added 14 points. Grant Nolan finished with 13 points for TC.
Bradley Browning scored a gamehigh 20 points for the Panthers. John Townsend added 11 points for Fouke and Trent Hale drained 10 points.
The Warriors defeated the Panthers in the junior high match, 47-39.
Alex Cobb led TC with a game-high 24 points.
Girls Daingerfield 44, DeKalb 31
DeKALB, Texas—Daingerfield got off to a fast start and never looked back as the Lady Tigers defeated DeKalb.
Mikayla Roberson hit three treys and finished with a game-high 20 points for the Lady Tigers and teammate Montrevia Durham added 12.
DeKalb's Carrie Almond finished with a team-high nine points.
Paul Pewitt 69, Hooks 13
HOOKS, Texas—Ebbony Cobbins scored a game-high 30 points to lead Paul Pewitt past Hooks, 69-13.
Mya Jefferson added 17 points for the Lady Brahmas.
Clarksville 38, James Bowie 18
SIMMS, Texas—Clarksville defeated James Bowie on the road in a varsity contest on the hardwood, 38-18.
LaQuesha Clark led Clarksville with 10 points and Ashley Shaw finished with 10 points for James Bowie.
