A conference about “Women Owning Woodlands” will be March 8-9 at Lake DeGray State Park in Bismarck, Ark.
The WOW conference is sponsored by the Cooperative Extension Service, part of the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture; and the Arkansas Forestry Association.
“If you’ve had questions about the health of your woodland property and how it might benefit you, your heirs and the environment, this is the conference for you,” said Tamara Walkingstick, associate director of the Arkansas Forest Resources Center, part of the university agriculture division.
