Fouke girls beats Mena, 55-27

GIRLS BASKETBALL Fouke 55, Mena 27

MENA, Ark.—Fouke trumped Mena 55-27 Tuesday night.

Taylor Hardin led the way for the Lady Panthers with 17 points including three triples.

Hannah Mauldin contribute­d 14 points to Fouke’s offensive efforts, and Crysta Larey tacked on 10 points of her own.

In the opening quarter the Panthers put Mena in the deficit 12-2. By halftime Fouke had extended its lead to 16.

Tateli Thacker was Mena’s offensive leader with 10 points.

At the start of the third frame the Panther’s pick up where they left on in the second and rode the wave to the end.

Fouke hosts Nashville Friday at home.

McLEOD, Texas—McLeod triumphs over James Bowie 48-29 Tuesday night.

Shelby Davis led the Lady Longhorns (21-9, 10-4) with 12 points and Jillian Ellis complement­ed with 10 of her own.

McLeod will play a warm up game saturday against Trinidad in Frankston, Texas.
