North Heights loses at home to El Dorado

SUBVARSITY NHJH, El Dorado split

North Heights eighth grade girls squad fell to El Dorado at home, 30-12.

Laraya Solomon led the Lady Backs with seven points.

NHJH finished the season 8-5 overall.

The seventh grade Lady Backs defeated El Dorado, 27-19.

Seaira Watson led the Lady Backs offensivel­y with nine points and Keniyah Bryant added six points.

The Lady Backs finished their season 12-3 overall.

TMS sweeps Greenville

Texas Middle School’s eighth grade A squad defeated Greenville, 57-12.

Javarous Tyson led the Tigers in the rout, finishing with 12 points.

Jayden Godwin and Ta’Shon Richardson, each added eight points apiece for TMS.

The Tigers finished the season 17-1 and district champions.

The eighth grade B Tigers defeated Greenville, 38-14, to secure a district championsh­ip and a 12-2 season overall.

Austin Still led TMS with eight points and Jake McGuire contribute­d seven points.

Texas Middle School’s seventh grade A squad defeated Greenville, 38-34.

Gabe Dodson led the Tigers offensivel­y with a game-high 17 points and Caden Grisham added six points.

The seventh grade B Tigers defeated Greenville, 31-22.

Ethan Ross led the Tigers with a game-high 14 points and Dallon Bristow added nine points.

AHS falls to El Dorado

Arkansas High’s ninth grade girls squad fell to El Dorado at home, 33-31.

Z’niyah Nelson led the Lady Backs offense with 10 points, Allyssa Young added nine points and Staijah Taylor contribute­d five points for AHS.

TMS, Greenville split

GREENVILLE, Texas—Texas Middle School’s eighth grade A team throttled Greenville, 56-17.

Jalyn Golette led the Lady Tigers with a game-high 17 points.

The eighth grade Lady Tigers finished the season undefeated and district champions.

The eighth grade B Lady Tigers defeated Greenville, 22-12.

Jazmine Hopkins led TMS with seven points.

TMS seventh grade A squad defeated Greenville, 46-20.

Emma Boehmke led the Lady Tigers, scoring a game-high 15 points and Delana Augustus added 13 points.

The seventh grade B Lady Tigers fell to Greenville, 28-8.

Sha’Dymond Simms, Aylin Daniel, Deja Haynes and Taylor Jacobs, each contribute­d two points for TMS.
