Domestic Violence
Prevention Inc. needs caring and empathetic individuals to work the hotline and at the Battered Women’s Shelter, administrative office, Resale Shop and outreach offices. Two volunteers are also needed to provide childcare during group meetings 5:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. every other Tuesday at the shelter.; and one to two volunteers to serve as a check-in workers for the Tuesday night group meeting 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the main office. First Choice Pregnancy Resource Center needs volunteer client advocates to counsel women in a crisis pregnancy situation, nurses/ doctors/sonograhers to perform pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, Mommy Store workers, teachers for a variety of classes and general housekeeping.
