Nashville gets by Genoa Central

NASHVILLE, Ark.—Nashville was able to fend off Genoa Central’s late game rally at home, 5-3.

Raley Potter led the Lady Scrappers at the plate with a double and a home run.

Madi Miller received the win in the circle for Nashville.

Brookelyen Cox and Klair Castleberr­y, each added a double for the Lady Scrappers.

NASHVILLE, Ark.—Tyler Hanson earned the win on the mound, struck out six, and allowed just two hits as the Scrappers shut out the Dragons.

Hanson helped his own cause as his ripped a double, a single, and batted in a pair of runs. Tristan Jamison also had a single, a double, and had 1 RBI for Nashville (8-2). Ty Gordon walloped a two-run double for the Scrappers.

Dalton Savell doubled and Colby Cobb singled for Genoa Central.

Nashville hosts Ashdown at 5 p.m. on Friday.
