COACH’S COMMENTS: Pleasant Grove’s Josh Gibson—“We are expecting a great atmosphere with homecoming. We are also expecting our kids to play their best game of the year. We’ve had a great week of practice.
“Tyler Chapel Hill is very athletic. They struggled early, but had a big win against Bullard on Friday. They run a spread system on offense and a 3-4 front on defense.
“Homecoming can be a distraction, but our administration does a great job of scheduling events around our practices, and there isn’t anything on game day besides the pep rally. Our goal is to grow and get better in all areas each week. We have to protect the football and not have so many turnovers. We also need to do a better job of controlling the line of scrimmage and playing more physical upfront.”
