COACH’S COMMENTS: LibertyEylau’s Steve Wells—“We’re going to do what we do. They’re the No.2 ranked team in the state, but I like some of the matchups. Offensively, the key is going to be up front, if we can control their defensive line or not. Our offensive line is going to have to have a good game. On the opposite side of that, our defensive line will have to play well also. They’re pretty big on their offensive line.

“They have a really good quarterback in Bo Hogeboom. He throws the ball well, and he has some really good receivers. Dillon Carter is really impressive. He’s a tall, fast good looking receiver. We’re definitely going to have to try to control him.

“They’ll pound you with their tailbacks. They do a lot of RPO (runpass-option) stuff, and we’re going to have to defend it.

“It’s all going to come together. We just have to trust the process. We have to get better each week in these non-district games and I think we’ll be fine once district play gets here. We’re going to Sulphur Springs with the intent to play well and to come out with a win.”
