COACH’S COMMENTS: Texas High’s Gerry Stanford—“As much as anything, we need to gain some confidence through how we play; being able to have confidence comes through playing well and doing things right. John Tyler is a great football team who has played great competition, just like we have. It’s still early enough in the season where we have to go out and worry about ourselves and get the things done that we can control. Our focus is on us and how we play.”
