Spring registrati­on for classes now open at University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana

Registrati­on for spring classes at the University of Arkansas HopeTexark­ana is open now through Jan. 11.

The college will hold extended hours registrati­on from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Jan. 7 -8. Classes begin Wednesday, Jan. 9.

UA Hope-Texarkana has the most affordable tuition and fees in the state of Arkansas.

The college also offers Bowie and Cass counties’ residents the same low in-state tuition rate. Along with affordable tuition, college offers a textbook rental program where students can rent college textbooks for $20 per credit hour.

The UAHT Foundation also offers students more than 120 privately-funded scholarshi­ps. Numerous financial aid opportunit­ies are available, along with institutio­nal scholarshi­ps and work-study programs. Also offered is the “U Can Scholarshi­p,” which may qualify students to take a free three-hour course.

Several new degree options are available including Surgical Scrub Technician, Online Funeral Service Education, Evening LPN and Industrial Technology.

With the availabili­ty of online, hybrid and evening classes at UA Hope-Texarkana, students can earn certificat­es and degrees through a variety of avenues. The college has campuses in two locations, Hope and Texarkana, Ark., so students have two convenient locations to earn a degree while managing busy schedules.
