Special guests to perform at local benefit concert

The Breakout Room 1130 benefit concert will be 4 p.m. Dec. 16 at Christ Nations Church, 600 Sowell Lane, Texarkana, Texas.

BET Sunday Best Season Seven Winner Geoffrey Golden will perform at the event, along with Crystal Aikin and Chad Stevenson.

There will also be performances by David Prince, A.J. Simmons and the Crew, the Turner Sisters, Jermia Cannon and Jay Williamson.

Rodney L. Smith of Nash Full Gospel Holy Temple will be hosting the event.

For choir members who would like to sing at this benefit, there will be an open workshop and rehearsal 6:30 p.m. Monday at House of Refuge, 1707 W. Sixth St., Texarkana, Texas.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Harvest Regional Food Bank of Texarkana.
