HOPE, Ark.—Melvin Luker, 84, of Hope died Thurs­day, Feb. 7, 2019, in Hope.

Mr. Luker was born May 8, 1934, in Selma, Ala. He was owner-op­er­a­tor of cat­tle and poul­try farms, a for­mer em­ployee of Dow Chem­i­cal Co. and a mem­ber of Shover Springs Baptist Church.

Sur­vivors in­clude his wife, Joyce Bobo Luker of Hope; three sons, Paul Luker of Mem­phis, Tenn., Charl­ton Luke of Hope and Ter­rance Luker of Sesto Cal­ende, Italy; two daugh­ters, Pam Anger­miller of Knippa, Texas, and Tonja Luker Hays of Texarkana; 12 grand­chil­dren; seven great-grand­chil­dren; and a life­long friend, Richard Davis.

Ser­vices will be 1 p.m. Tues­day at Brazzel/Oakcrest Fu­neral Home with Ter­rance Luker of­fi­ci­at­ing. Burial will be in Holly Springs Ceme­tery, Spring Hill, Ark.

Visi­ta­tion will be from 5 to 7 p.m. to­day at the fu­neral home.
