AT­LANTA, Texas—Henry Allen King Jr., 89, of At­lanta died Fri­day, Feb. 8, 2019, at his home.

Mr. King was born Aug. 12, 1929, in At­lanta. He owned an in­sur­ance and real es­tate busi­ness, for­merly worked at At­lanta Fed­eral Sav­ings and Loan and was a mem­ber of First Baptist Church, Lions Club and Ro­tary Club. He was pre­ceded in death by a wife, He­len King.

Sur­vivors in­clude his wife, Mil­dred A. King of At­lanta; one son and daugh­ter-in-law, Stephen King and Martha Dim­mers of Lake For­est Park, Wash.; one step­son, Lewis Smith of Hous­ton; three grand­chil­dren, Carys Dim­mers-King, Gen­e­sis Dim­mers-King and Gabriel Dim­mers-King of Lake For­est Park; two step­grand­chil­dren, Porter Smith and Con­ner Smith of Hous­ton, Texas; and a num­ber of nieces, neph­ews and other rel­a­tives.

Ser­vices will be 2 p.m. Tues­day at First Baptist Church with Dale Perkins of­fi­ci­at­ing.

Burial will be in Pine Crest Ceme­tery un­der di­rec­tion of Han­ner Fu­neral Ser­vice.

Visi­ta­tion will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Tues­day at the church.
