DALLAS—Susan Simpson Hull, 60, formerly of Old Boston, Texas, died Monday, July 8, 2019, in Arizona.

Dr. Hull was born Jan. 12, 1959, in Old Boston. She was a school superinten­dent with Grand Prairie ISD, an adjunct professor with Dallas Baptist University, former teacher, coach and principal, and a member of State Board of Educator Certificat­ion, Region 10 Education Service Center, Texas Associatio­n of School Administra­tors, Center for Reform for School Systems, Center for Quality Leadership/ School Research Nexus, American Associatio­n of School Administra­tors, Texas Council of Women School Executives, Associatio­n of Supervisio­n and Curriculum Developmen­t, The Holdsworth Center, Grand Prairie Friday Rotary, Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce, Grand Prairie YMCA Board of Directors, LifeLine Shelter for Families Board of Directors, Grand Prairie ISD Education Foundation Board, and New Boston ISD Education Foundation Board Steering Committee.

Survivors include her husband, Kent Hull; two daughters and sons-in-law, Erin and James Whisenhunt and Laci and Brett Garbs; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Seth and Dariana Laskoskie and Colton Hull; four grandchild­ren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Dallas Baptist University Pilgrim Chapel, and 3 p.m. Saturday at New Boston High School Auditorium, New Boston, Texas, with Dr. Bill Skarr officiatin­g. Burial will be in Ringwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Tapp Memorial United Methodist Church, New Boston.
