Ashdown sets fall registration

Ashdown School District has set days and times for fall registration on all campuses.

Ashdown Elementary School will register new and returning students in kindergarten, first and second grades from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 29 to Aug. 1. L.F. Henderson Intermediate will register new and returning students in third through fifth grades from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 29, 30, 31 and Aug.1. New students will need to bring shots records, birth certificate and social security card.

Ashdown Junior High students, grades six through eight, will begin registering new students in the district on Aug. 1. The AJHS Office will be open between 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday to make the updates after Aug. 1.

Ashdown High School students who are new to the district can begin registering on July 18 and returning students in grades nine through 12 can register from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. July 25, 29, 30 or 31. Any schedule change must be done during these days.

All returning students may attend the district-wide Open House/Meet the Teacher from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 8 to update all registration paperwork and pick up their schedules. This will be held at the individual campuses. Class schedules can also be picked up at this time.

The Purple/Gold game will be held at 7 p.m. on Aug. 13 at 7 p.m.in Dick Hays Stadium.

The first day of school for Ashdown Public Schools will be Tuesday, Aug. 13.
