Patrick Maroon, who recently won the Stanley Cup with the St. Louis Blues, will sign free autographs from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday in the VIP room at Four States Fairgrounds.

Maroon played his first NAHL season for the Texarkana Bandits as a 17-year-old during the 2005-06 campaign. He capped the season with 60 points in 57 games, was named to the NAHL’s All-Rookie Team and was coached by now-Tampa Bay Lightning coach Jon Cooper.

Maroon’s 23 points in 2007, after the team left Texarkana and moved to St. Louis, still holds as the NAHL record for most points in a postseason.

The Blues’ defeated the Boston Bruins in seven games for the NHL title—a victory that may not have been possible without his Game 7 heroics against the Dallas Stars when he scored the game-winning goal in double overtime to seal the series.
