WILLIE FRED (GRANDMA) WALL

Willie Fred Wall was born February 11, 1917 in Oxford, Alabama and died at her home August 23, 2019 surrounded by family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Mona McCullough (Bill), son Duane Wall (Myrle), son Neal Wall (Kay) and daughter Celia Patterson, 16 grandchild­ren, 30 great-grandchild­ren, 52 great-great-grandchild­ren and 5 great, great, great-grandchild­ren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred James and Lydia Elsie Traywick, husband Cecil Wall, sister Lois Traywick, brothers Jack Traywick, Doug (Buster) Traywick, Lamar(Snook) Traywick, daughter Joan Steffens, granddaugh­ter LeeAnn Mullins, grandson Steve Guthrie

Visitation will be Saturday night from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Maddens Funeral Chapel.

Funeral Services will be at the Ashdown Church of the Nazarene, Ashdown, AR, Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 3:00 pm.

Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Andarko, OK, Monday, August 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm.

Mrs. Wall was the owner of Mona’s Young Fashions. She was active in the Ashdown School Grandparen­t Support Group, the Ashdown Senior Citizens Group and a volunteer at Ashdown Kindergart­en. She served her church, Ashdown Church of the Nazarene, as a Sunday School Teacher, Mission Leader, Church Board Member, VBS Director and ministered to the residents at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, even though she was older than most she ministered to. She was “Grandma Wall” to all.
