COACH JOSH GIBSON’S

COMMENTS: “The offensive line did an unbelievable job. A lot of different guy ran the ball, so that was good. Not only were we containing Atlanta on defense, but we were making some big hits. We played really physical football. I couldn’t be happier for that side of the ball. We wanted the defense to dominate, and I think, as a team, that we had a dominant performance.

“When we get to take our guys out with three minutes left in the third quarter, then it’s good. More kids get to play and develop. The parents want to see them play, and we treat them like our own sons. There is nothing more we want than to get all the kids involved and reward them for the investments that they make in our program.

“We had our youth football league here — about 200 players and cheerleaders, and I want to thank our community for how involved they are. I want them to know that we value that, and we try to play in a way that honors our community, school and God. We are thankful.”
