Doctor-hospital network wins photo contest
TEXARKANA, Texas — Ark-La-Tex Health Network, a physician-hospital organization here, was selected as the winner of the 2019 National Medical Staff Services Awareness Week Photo Contest.
Since 1992, the first week in November has been officially recognized as National Medical Staff Services Awareness Week. Since then, NAMSS has partnered with hospitals, managed care organizations, doctor’s offices, university health systems and government agencies to promote awareness of the medical services professional.
“We are excited to have received the honor of being chosen as the winner of this national contest,” said an Ark-La-Tex Health Network official. “Although the temperatures reached over 100 degrees the day the picture was taken, we had a lot of fun.”
Ark-La-Tex Health Network is a physician-hospital organization and is headed by Payor Operations and Network Relations Director Sylvia Ingram. It serves more than 450 physicians and allied health professionals and ancillary facilities in a 17-county service area covering Northeast Texas, Southwest Arkansas and
Southeast Oklahoma. Its Texarkana office is at 2900 St. Michael Drive, Site 401B.
