COACH GERRY STANFORD’S COMMENTS: “I’m proud of this team. Our seniors put us on the map to do some great things in the future. Not a whole lot of people expected to be two rounds deep (in the playoffs), but when kids are determined to do things and set certain goals, and really mean it, they can do anything they want to.

“You’ve got to have talent, no doubt, but as much as anything at the high school level, you’ve got to have kids who really care. Our kids really cared; it showed in their attitude and their effort all year long. I’m very proud of this group of young men.”
