Shirley Jean Ware, age 85, of Texarkana, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.

Mrs. Ware was born May 17, 1934 in Texarkana, Arkansas and was a lifetime resident of Texarkana. She was retired from Commercial National Bank with more than thirty-five years of service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Arkansas, the United Daughters of the Confederac­y and the Daughters of the American Revolution. In her retirement she loved to travel with her husband and friends to different parts of the of United States and Europe. She also enjoyed spending time in Branson, relaxing with friends, family and creating memories that would last a lifetime. The most important

part of Shirley’s life was her time shared with her family, her grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Willis Ray Ware of Texarkana, Arkansas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Ronnie Monroe of Fouke, Arkansas, Cynthia and Royce Heldt of Atlanta, Texas; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Joe and Sher Ware of Concord,

California; Brent Ware of Fouke, Arkansas, one sister and brother-in-law, Bettye and James Megason of Texarkana, Arkansas; one sister-in-law, Anita Mays of Bentonvill­e, Arkansas, numerous grandchild­ren, great grandchild­ren, a host of friends and other relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Monday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas with Rev. Jaimie Alexander officiatin­g. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M.
