Tanisha Nicole CheathamBa­rnes was born October 21, 1992 to the parents of Earnest and Vernetta “Nita” Cheatham. Tanisha was loved by everyone and a caring person to everyone she met. She was a graduated of Arkansas High School class of 2011. She enjoyed singing in the choir and marching in the band and she received a scholarshi­p for choir at UAPB.

Tanisha was preceded in death by one daughter, Aniyah Cheatham; grandparen­ts, Cora and Wilbert Walker, Sr., Howard Davis, Samuel (Elizabeth) Cheatham and one uncle, Paul Dean, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, husband, Ray Barnes; daughter, Alisha Cheatham; parents, Earnest and (Vernetta) Cheatham, Sr. ; four sisters, Tammie (Keith) Pope, Lasha (Willie D) Craven, Tiffany Cheatham and Myiesha Shaw; two brothers, Earnest (Keona) Cheatham, Jr.; Courtney (Sharon) Cheatham; grandmothe­r, Bobbie Davis; special family, Phil & Dr. Jackie O’Donald & family; number of aunts, uncles and other family members and friends.

Viewing for Mrs. Tanisha will be 4-7 P.M. Friday, July 31, at Lyles Funeral Home. Saturday, August 1, 2020 viewing of Mrs. Tanisha will be from 9:30-10:00 a.m. at Chapelwood Memorial Garden. Graveside funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Chapelwood Memorial Garden with the Rev. Kenneth Reid, Sr officiatin­g. Interment to follow in Chapelwood Memorial Garden.

Family requests all attendees wear masks and practice social distancing guidelines.
