CLARA LOUISE COLEMAN FALKNER

Clara Louise Falkner 93, of Ashdown, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at her home.

Louise was born February 8, 1927, in Wallace, Arkansas to Irlond and Pearl Magruder Coleman. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Central Baptist Church of Ashdown where she taught Sunday School for several years. She loved sewing pageant dresses, cheerleader uniforms, majorette uniforms and on one occasion, the sky and clouds for the gym for Senior Prom.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her Husband R.L. Falkner, her son Richard L. Falkner III, her grandson Charles Neff Jr., two brothers Bill and James Coleman and one sister Mary Ted Coleman.

She is survived by her Daughter Donna Neff and Charles Sr. of Ashdown; one daughter-in-law Connie Falkner of Amarillo, Texas: four grandchildren, Michael & Robbin Neff of Jacksonville, FL.; Robert & Sofia Neff with their two daughters, Christine and Gloria of Texarkana, Texas; Jennifer Falkner and fiancé James Bobbitt, of Amarillo, TX.; Richard IV & Kaylyn Falkner of Fairchild A.F.B., WA; one great grandson, R.L. Falkner V of Fairchild A.F.B., WA.; one Sister Betty Sheets of Rougemont, NC; a niece Shelia and Ed Williams of Plano, TX; a special friend, Laverne Styles of Houston, TX, and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

The Family would like to give a special Thank You to the nurses, aids and other staff of Dierksen Hospice for their care and compassion during this difficult time.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Madden Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 at Madden Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be Monday, August 3, 2020 at 10:00 at Ashdown Cemetery in Ashdown, AR., under the direction of Madden Funeral Home with Rev. Don Embry officiating.
