Curley Wolves pulverize Lions, 63-6
BISMARCK, Ark. — Jacobi Nolen hit on 6 of 12 passes for 177 yards and four touchdowns to lead Prescott to a 63-6 victory over Bismarck in a Conference 5-3A varsity football game on Friday.
Jacaylon Zachery caught two TD passes from Nolen that went for 44 and 47 yards. Jeff Williams hauled in a 50-yard pass for a score, while teammate Caleb Harris nabbed a 53-yard score for Prescott.
Alex George had a pair of touchdowns runs from five and three yards out for the Curley Wolves, and Jaylen Hopson broke free for a 51-yard score.
Caden Martin recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown for Prescott, and teammate Jacie Jackson had a 12-yard TD.
The Curley Wolves (6-0, 4-0) host Jessieville next Friday in a Conference 5-3A clash.
Wolves stay unbeaten
Prescott crushed Bismarck, 63-6, showing why its the topranked team in Conference 5-3A. The Curley Wolves are 6-0 and 4-0 in conference.
Ashdown fell to Arkadelphia, 47-20, as it will look to turn things around after a 2-game skid. The Panthers are 6-2 and 3-2 in Conference 7-4A a week after knocking off Nashville in a key league game.
Nashville thumped Harmony Grove, 41-7, and improved to 5-2 on the year and 3-1 in Conference 7-4A.
Horatio continued its woes on the gridiron in a 55-0 loss to Camden Harmony Grove. The Lions are 0-6 and 0-3 in Conference 5-3A. Fouke dropped to 1-3 in Conference 5-3A and 1-4 overall in a 42-13 loss to Jessieville.
Foreman blanked Lafayette County 36-0. The Gators are 3-5 and 2-1 in Conference 7-2A, while the Cougars fall to 0-6 and 0-2 in conference. Dierks lit up Murfreesboro, 46-8, to improve to 6-1 on the year and 2-0 in Conference 7-2A.
Hope did not fair well in a 54-12 loss to Camden Fairview. The Bobcats are 1-3 in Conference 5A South and 1-6 on the year. De Queen suffered a similar fate with a 56-13 loss to Hot Springs Lakeside. The Leopards (0-8, 0-4) are still looking for their first win of the season.
