1. What are your top priority or priorities specific to your ward, and how do you plan to address them?

One priority is to create more College readiness programs and mentorships for high school students. Programs such as these would provide the skills to help high school students achieve academic success. Another priority will be to create more community involvement opportunities such as Saturday Clean-up Day. We would organize cleanup events using volunteers to clean up community spaces such as parks, assist seniors, and sidewalks, while providing better solutions to tackle mismanaged waste.

Fixing potholes and draining system in flood area.

2. How can the city promote economic development and new job creation?

More support to small business, entrepreneurship, pop up business. Bring more skilled production industry.

Economic growth only comes from increasing the quality and quantity of production factors, which consist of four broad types: land, labor, capital, and entrepreneurship.

Educating the importance of buying and building up dilapidated houses and investing in land to increase the city’s tax revenue is another way to increase job opportunities.

Meetings of the mind to get one to buy dilapidated house and land to increase the city’s taxes revenue to increase jobs and college scholarships.

3. What is the next large-scale project the city should tackle, and how do you propose funding it?

Bring in new businesses to create more job opportunities, foster economic growth, and improve city services,

Rehab and reconstruction housing in low income area.

4. What are your thoughts concerning the city’s civic culture, that is, issues such as political polarization, social and economic justice, and policing reform?

There is still a noticeable gap between the rich and the poor.

Local officials need to be more visible other election time.

I have also seen our Officers all over the city giving back to the communities in programs such as the Pride Academy for six graders and National Night Out in which I have had the pleasure to ride along with the Police Department for the last 13 years.

Our police are doing a great job.

5. What is your vision for downtown Texarkana, and how do you plan to achieve it?

Downtown is beginning to grow substantially. To help continue the growth, I would like to bring in more businesses such as and expand tourist attractions. This growth could help Texarkana and the people visiting to learn more about Texarkana and all that the city has to offer.

Also see the downtown business offer more to the community like discount days to get locals to come downtown.

I could be a voice for the business to the Ward I will serve.
