JEERS: To the Louisiana State Republican Party for their censure of Sen. Bill Cassidy for his vote to convict Donald J. Trump in his impeachment trial. I guess truth and integrity doesn’t count for much in the Republican party. Jeers also to Tom Cotton and John Boozman of my state of Arkansas for their acquittal vote. JEERS: To Democrats and their media enablers who demonize the 43 Republicans who voted to acquit Trump saying they put party and politics over country. In the four Presidential impeachments in history 15 Republicans have broken ranks and voted with Democrats. How many Democrats have broken ranks with their party in impeachment trials? The answer is none, not a damn one. The complaints against Republicans come across as self righteous and hypocritical. — L.O., Texarkana, Texas
CHEERS: To Rush Limbaugh, for the years that he dedicated his life to America — standing strong for his conservative convictions. Unlike many who have gone along with the PC crowd, lacking firm convictions to stand on what is right, prefer. People like Limbaugh are becoming fewer in numbers, while gut-less “men pleasers” — media personalities, politicians, and even religious leaders are growing in numbers.
