Cancer survivors invited to create art

Tough Kookie Foundation, founded in 2018 by Katina Levingston, is wanting to help cancer survivors express themselves through art.

Survivors of children’s cancers and breast cancer are invited to create works of art from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays at 1894 Market in downtown Texarkana.

The creations will be presented in September and October at events that will honor cancer survivors, Levingston said.

Levingston is a breast cancer survivor.

Participants will need to register before attending a painting session.
