Mary Hardin Vickers Fuller “Mimi” age 72, passed away peacefully on Monday June 7, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mimi was born April 16, 1949 in Smackover, Arkansas and was the youngest child of Richard and Marjorie Vickers.

She was a graduate of Saint Mary’s Hall, San Antonio, Texas and attended The University of Arkansas and SMU during which time she was introduced to Robert Fuller. They married and lived in Texarkana, Texas where they spent the next 44 years raising their three children. Mimi was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority, a 45 year member of the Junior League of Texarkana, and Williams Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a wonderful homemaker, beloved wife, mother, grandmothe­r, sister, aunt, and friend. For those close to Mimi, they knew of her fabulous wit and were often recipients of hand written notes and accidental phone calls. Mimi loved going to the movies, collecting art, reading, traveling, and summers in Colorado. But it was when she was at home with her husband and children that she was the most happy.

Mimi is preceded in death by her best friend and love Robert Grim Fuller, her parents Richard Hardin Vickers and Marjorie Roy Vickers, and her eldest sister Sondra Vickers Black. She is survived by her son, Emery Haydon Fuller, his wife Melissa, and two grandchild­ren Seraphina and Worthingto­n, and her two daughters Mayfair Vickers Fuller and Kingsley Hardin Fuller. She is also survived by her sister, Marjorie Vickers, many nieces, and nephews whom she adored, and her dog Piper. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 28th at Hillcrest Cemetery. Masks are requested to be worn. The family extends its heartfelt thanks to the kind and wonderful nurses at the Center at Centennial and Encompass Hospice in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
