Highland Park Baptist Church and First Baptist Church Moores Lane were very dear to Lyda’s heart. Her church families and friends have been blessings throughout this journey. Also, her Colleagues and friends from Northeast Texas MHMR where she retired after 17.5 years as Director of Finance were truly important to her even after retirement. To know her was to love her as she was known by many as the epitome of old fashioned southern grace. Her hair, nails, makeup and style were always perfection but her heart was full of warmth, love and compassion for all.
