Bobby Frank Brown, 85, of Hope passed away Monday, September 5, 2022. Bobby was born July 21, 1937 to Clyde Brown and Bessie Mcknight Brown in Ozan, AR.

Bobby was a driver for C&H Transpor-tation for many years across the US. He also completed a haul to Alaska and battled the Alaskan Highway in the earlier years. On July 28, 1978 he married Linda, and soon they both went to work at C&H as owner-operator team drivers. They stayed on the road for another 12 years before Bob’s injury changed their course.

Bobby worked for years building his business, A & B Machine & Welding, Inc. located in Hope, AR. While the business began as a small business in the backyard of their home. Bobby worked at Tyson over night live haul until his full employment at A & B Machine & Welding, Inc. Bobby was a past Master Mason at #239 in Hope.

Bobby is predecease­d by his wife, Linda Brown (October 26, 2020); sister, Betty Brown Sowell; two brothers, Billy Brown and Jimmy Clyde Brown; son, Bobby “Alan” Brown (from a previous union); and grandson, Bobby Ken “Kenny” Brown.

Bobby is survived by stepdaught­er, Kelly (Roger) Mcbride of Hope; stepson, Greg Hardaway of Anniston, AL; sister, Dianna (John) Gregory of Texarkana, TX; two granddaugh­ters, Mica’ Mcbride and Melissa Lenaway; two grandsons, Jarrod Mcbride and Ricky Brown; great-granddaugh­ter, Nicole Ferrand; two great-grandsons, Riley Golden and Ethan Mcbride; and a friend/assistant/manager, Jeff Clendenen.

A memorial visitation is scheduled 5:30-8:00pm Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Herndon-fuqua Funeral Home in Hope, AR.
