Kelly Moss Carter, 84, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday February 22, 2023, in a Little Rock, Ar Hospital.

Mr. Carter was born July 16, 1938, in Houston, Texas. Kelly graduated from Texarkana, Ar High School, class of 56 and from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineerin­g with honors. Kelly served in the Arkansas National Guard and was a member of the First Baptist Church Moores Lane Texarkana. He retired form Day and Zimmerman (Lone Star Ammunition Plant) after 43 years. Kelly was a pool shooter, sometimes hustler, who loved the game and played on several of the Texarkana pool leagues. One of his many accomplish­ments in life was when he won the Texarkana City Ping Pong Championsh­ip against Phillip Duvall and Chessie Nelson. Kelly loved to fish and best of all being in the great outdoors, he was a very caring and giving person to all that knew him and he will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kelly M. Sr. and Lovenia Carter.

He is survived by his brother and sister in-law, Gary E. and Jimmie Ann Carter of Ashdown, Ar, his nephew, Ashley Carter of Texarkana, Tx and his family of many many friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday March 2nd at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane, Texarkana, Tx.

Family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.

Paula Sue Wilson Crawford passed away on December 23, 2022. Her life will be celebrated at Sugar Hill United Methodist Church on March 11th, 2023, from 11:00am to 1:00pm to honor her memory.
