First United Methodist Church will have 2023 Lenten Musical Meditation­s at 12:15 p.m. every Wednesday through Lent. Performers include Robin Thomas of First Baptist Church on Wednesday; and the Texarkana Regional Chorale under direction of Marc-Andre Bougie on March 29. SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

St. Matthew Baptist Church, Foreman, Arkansas, hosts a Ladies in Red program at 2:30 p.m. March 26. The special guests will be Lizzie Williams and Emmanuel COGIC, Ashdown, Arkansas.

Sugar Hill United Methodist Church will have its 30th anniversar­y at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Donations to the church may be made in memory of Dr. Herb and Jean Wren.

Oak Street Baptist Church will have a pre-anniversar­y service for pastor and wife at 11 a.m. Sunday. The speaker will be the Rev. Carl George of Macedonia Baptist Church, Chandler, Texas.
