BESSIE STRANGE

Bessie Irene Strange, 90, of Texarkana,

Texas, passed away on December 22, 2023.

Bessie was born on January

8, 1933, in Texarkana, AR. to Emma and

Fred Price.

She truly lived a full life doing all of the things that she loved most including sewing, traveling and camping with her late husband, Billie, and listening to Irish singer Daniel O’donnell - who she got to see live twice in Branson.

Bessie is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Billie Strange, her parents, and her daughter-in-law, Gayle Strange.

Survivors include her children, Michael Strange, Chuck Strange and wife Lisa, and Karie Mcguire and husband Mike; five grandchildren, Daniel Strange and wife Stephanie, Jessica Mcdaniel and husband Jordan, Troy Strange, Travis Strange and Megan Andrews and husband Patrick; eleven great-grandchildren, Sida Mcdaniel, Ensley Mcdaniel, Dustin Andrews, Cason Andrews, Cassidy Andrews, Boone Andrews, Taycee Wren Andrews, Mackenzee Strange, Aubree Strange, Cody Strange, and Baby Boy Strange on the way; one greatgreat-granddaughter, Spring Andrews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.

Brenda Wade passed away December 24. Services will be 11:00 A.M. December 27 at Bates Family Funeral Home. Graveside services will be December 28 at Frazier Cemetery in Magnolia, Arkansas. Mrs. Dorothy Stella Sharp, 97, of Magnolia, Arkansas, passed away early Tuesday morning, December 26, 2023, at Wentworth Place in Magnolia, Arkansas. Arrangements are pending with R.L. Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia, Arkansas. Gordon Lewis Jones, age 93, of Texarkana, died Friday, December 22, 2023. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. Memorial service will be held at later date. Jerry Ray Erie Sr., 82, of Texarkana, Texas passed Saturday, December 23, 2023. Service 2pm Friday, December 29, 2023 at East Funeral Home-moores Lane. Visitation 6-8pm Thursday at East Funeral Home-moores Lane. Funeral service for Lillie Fuller, 86, of Texarkana, Texas is pending with Haynes Mortuary, Inc. She died on Sunday, December 24, 2023, in Texarkana, Texas.

HOWARD CLEMENTS

Howard Clements, age 87, of Fouke, Arkansas went home to be with his Lord and

Savior on December 25,

2023, in Ashdown, Arkansas, surrounded by his family.

He was a carpenter by trade and was known for his excellent cabinet work and woodworking skills. He was strong in his faith and led the music in his church. He was a member of Mira Pentecostal Church. He was a people person, outgoing and hardworking individual. He loved his children and loved spending time with his family. His great passion was hunting and being in the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Alice Clements, his parents, Howard and Ethel Clements, three brothers, and one sister.

He is survived by his daughters: Delores (Paul) Thibodeau of Lafayette, TN; Shelia (Rick) Bolton of Nash, TX; Lynn (Scott) Guillory of Minden, LA; Carla (Lyn) Ames of Ashdown, AR; Donna Mixon of Minden, LA., one son, Johnny Clements, of Texarkana, Arkansas; one sister, Ruth Sims of Texarkana, Arkansas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a host of other friends and relatives.

Private service will be under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. Burial will be at Fouke Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Pleasant Manor in Ashdown, Arkansas, for the love and care they gave to Mr. Clements.
