“Assembled: the Making of Echo”

Fans get an exclusive peak into the magic behind the action when “Marvel Studios’ Assembled: the Making of Echo” premieres on Disney+ Wednesday, Jan. 31. In this “Hawkeye” spinoff, Maya Lopez (new talent Alaqua Cox), Marvel’s first-ever deaf Indigenous superhero, is pursued by Wilson Fisk’s (Vincent D’onofrio, “Godfather of Harlem”) criminal empire. When the journey brings her home to America’s Heartland after a tumultuous childhood in New York City, she must confront her own family and legacy, and embrace her Native American roots if she ever hopes to move forward. Now, “Assembled” goes behind the scenes of the groundbrea­king series, exploring “how the cast and crew learned American Sign Language to create a more inclusive and accessible on-set environmen­t” and how “the filmmakers taking unpreceden­ted steps to portray Native American culture truthfully, and without artifice” (per Disney+). The series also gives a sneak peek into how the stars brought their heroes and villains to life, before culminatin­g with “viewers getting a front-row seat to Marvel Studios’ and Choctaw Nation’s first collaborat­ion on a powwow” (Disney+). the five-episode series also stars Chaske Spencer (“The English”), Graham Greene (“The Green Mile,” 1999), Tantoo Cardinal (“Killers of the Flower Moon,” 2023), Devery Jacobs (“Reservatio­n Dogs”), Zahn Mcclarnon (“Dark Winds”) and Cody Lightning (“Hey, Viktor!,” 2023).

“Me & Mickey Shorts” - Season 2, New Episodes

The fun continues when 17 new episodes from Season 2 of “Me & Mickey” make their streaming debut, Wednesday, Jan. 31, on Disney+, inviting preschoole­rs to laugh and learn along with the much beloved Mickey Mouse (voiced by Bret Iwan, “Mickey and Friends Trick or Treats,” 2023).The series — in a new format for this long standing character — follows Mickey through a variety of topics in vlog-style video shorts, allowing kids a bright and colorful glimpse into the everyday life of one incredibly popular mouse. From morning and nighttime routines to packing a backpack, identifyin­g shapes, making music and more, Mickey discusses topics that are important, educationa­l, useful and easy to follow. Each episode prepares preschoole­rs to take on the next big steps in life, like starting kindergart­en.the series also welcomes little ones to take part in fun games, activities and challenges, like “Super Silly Stare Off,” “Talk Like a Pirate” and “Super Silly Dance Party,” encouragin­g kids — and their parents — to get all their wiggles out along the way.

“Mickey Mouse Funhouse” - Season 2, New Episodes

From Pirates to dinosaurs to superheroe­s, Mickey, Minnie and the gang are ready to see it all when Season 2 of “Mickey Mouse Funhouse” continues with four new episodes, streaming Wednesday, Jan. 31, on Disney+. Mickey Mouse (Bret Iwan, “Mickey Mouse Mixed-up Adventures”) and friends are back and ready for some adventures as they explore imaginativ­e worlds and magical kingdoms with their new pal, Funny (Harvey Guillen, “What We Do in the Shadows”), a talking, shape-shifting funhouse. Living in the Funhouse Forest, just outside of Hot Dog Hills, the sensationa­l six best friends include Mickey, Minnie (Kaitlyn Robrock, “Frozen II,” 2019), Donald Duck (Tony Anselmo, “Ducktales”), Daisy Duck (Debra Wilson, “MADTV”), Goofy (Bill Farmer, “Amphibia”) and Pluto (also Farmer) to imaginativ­e worlds and adventures suitable for the whole family. The gang heads to all new locations this season, visiting Pirate World, Underwater Ocean World, Herotropol­is and more, stopping to see some more familiar spots along the way. this season also features the return of John Stamos (“Big Shot”) as the voice of Captain Salty Bones and also voice stars Yvette Nicole Brown (Disney Junior’s “Firebuds”), Lois Chimimba (“The One”), alice Lee (“Zoey’s Extraordin­ary Playlist”),y asmine Al Massri (“Quantico”), Jee Young Han (“Perry Mason”), Brock Powell (“Hamster & Gretel”), Jim Cummings (“Christophe­r Robin,” 2018),April Winchell (“Recess”) and Corey Burton (“Atlantis: the Lost Empire,” 2001).
