“Damsel” (2024)

Make your own destiny with the fantasy adventure film “Damsel,” making its debut Friday, March 8, on Netflix.the film stars Millie Bobby Brown (“Enola Holmes,” 2020) as Elodie, a dutiful damsel who agrees to marry a handsome prince. From director Juan Carlos Fresnadill­o (“28 Weeks Later,” 2007), “Damsel” is written by Dan Mazeau (“Wrath of the Titans,” 2012). “The Gentlemen”

Keep your guard up for director and writer Guy Ritchie’s (“Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels,” 1998) newest gangster series, “The Gentlemen,” premiering Thursday, March 7, on Netflix. Based in the same world as Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name, this series continuati­on features a whole new story and a new cast of criminally intriguing characters. “The Gentlemen” stars Theo James (“The White Lotus”) as Eddie, who unexpected­ly inherits his father’s sizable country estate.adding on to the surprises, Eddie discovers that not only is his inheritanc­e part of a large cannabis empire, but a number of unsavory characters from Britain’s criminal underworld want a piece of the operation.trying to get himself out of the clutches of his new “associates,” Eddie tries to play the gangsters at their own game and soon finds himself developing a taste for crime.
