“Royal Rules of Ohio” - Season 1

Sink into a brand-new reality series when Freeform’s newest offering, “Royal Rules of Ohio,” premieres on Hulu Thursday, May 16. Living “a lavish life as the daughters of royal descendant­s of two of the most wealthy and powerful Ghanaian kingdoms,” the Agyekum sisters — Thelma, Brenda and Nana — are doing their best to navigate their 20s while living in Columbus, Ohio (per Freeform). However, with their parents,akili Bobo and Delali, along with their close-knit community, keeping a watchful eye on their every move, cameras get an up-close-and-personal look at the intense pressure and responsibi­lity that they carry with their royal privilege. But will the sisters be able to maintain their clean reputation­s once cameras take a peek behind closed doors? “Where the Crawdads Sing” (2022)

Find out what one woman did to survive the marshlands of North Carolina and the society that shunned her when “Where the Crawdads Sing” is made available to stream Sunday, May 12, on Hulu. Based on the novel of the same name by Delia Owens, the film follows Kya (Daisy Edgar-jones, “Normal People”), a young girl that decides to live off the land to escape her abusive father (Garret Dillahunt, “Raising Hope”). One day, Kya begins a relationsh­ip with Chase Andrews (Harris Dickinson, “Triangle of Sadness,” 2022), the town’s star quarterbac­k who promises her marriage.a year later, she breaks off the relationsh­ip when she finds out that Chase is engaged to another woman. However, when Chase turns up dead, Kya becomes the prime suspect. “Shardlake”

Can one man, the titular Matthew Shardlake (Arthur Hughes, “The Innocents”), overcome the seedy and corrupted system of 16th century England to shed light on a grisly murder? Find out in “Shardlake,” available to stream now on Hulu. Based on the first novel in the late C. J. Sansom’s internatio­nally popular series of Tudor murder mystery novels, the fourepisod­e series follows Shardlake, a lawyer living with scoliosis, as he investigat­es the murder of a commission­er in the remote town of Scarnsea for Thomas Cromwell (Sean Bean, “Game of Thrones”), the right-hand man of King Henry VIII. In addition to solving the murder, Cromwell tasks Shardlake with gathering evidence to close the local monastery for good, which puts the lawyer at immediate odds with the monks necessary for his investigat­ion.
