Arts center hosts gala fundraiser in October

LOWER MAKEFIELD - To kick off its 3Rth anniversar­y year, the Bucks County Performing Arts Center will hold a fundraisin­g event on Oct. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Crossing sineyards, N8R3 Wrightstow­n Road, Washington Crossing. The cost of AR0.

duests will experience two hours of local wines, hors d’oeuvres, special guest entertainm­ent, and a silent auction full of deals, all in a gorgeous, local setting. Auction items typically go for 60 percent off of their value and include artwork, handmade jewelry, collectibl­e bears, golf outings, spa and salon services, restaurant gift certificat­es and an array of tickets to popular area performanc­es. There’s even a special trip package to tour the capitol in Washington, D.C., and the state capitol and meet with State Rep. Steve Santarsier­o, and other special surprises. Auction items will be awarded to the highest bidder at the end of the night (payable by cash or check).

The center’s bear collection is very unique one. A generous donor made it possible for the center to offer highly collectibl­e English, derman and American teddy bears to those who want to support BCPAC and get something special in return. The center offer one collector’s lifetime of bears (and a few other whimsical creatures) in its ‘3R Bears for 3R vears’ special bear offering at the silent auction.
