Fe­bru­ary brings in­for­ma­tion ses­sions, mu­sic schol­ar­ship au­di­tions to Villa E

WING, N.J. - Villa Vic­to­ria Academy, a pri­vate, Catholic col­lege prepara­tory school for girls in preKinder­garten through 12th grade will host an in­for­ma­tion ses­sion for stu­dents and par­ents in­ter­ested in ap­ply­ing for the 2013-14 school year on Thurs­day, Feb. 7 from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

At­ten­dees will have the op­por­tu­nity to meet fac­ulty, par­ents and stu­dents, tour the fa­cil­i­ties and ex­plore the aca­demic, ath­letic, spir­i­tual, and ex­tracur­ric­u­lar pro­grams that Villa Vic­to­ria of­fers. Ad­mis­sions staff will be DYDIODEOH WR GIVFuVV finDnFIDO DIG and schol­ar­ship op­por­tu­ni­ties.

Au­di­tions will also be held for the Sis­ter Elizabeth Par­ente Schol­ar­ship for Out­stand­ing Young Mu­si­cians, awarded to one in­com­ing fresh­man, on Thurs­day, Feb. 7. In­ter­ested ap­pli­cants should con­tact ad­mis­sions at 609-882-1700, ext. 19, to sched­ule an au­di­tion ap­point­ment. Both vo­cal and in­stru­men- tal au­di­tions will be con­sid­ered. The schol­ar­ship hon­ors Sis­ter Elizabeth Par­ente, a former prin­ci­pal and choral di­rec­tor who helped shape Villa Vic­to­ria’s mu­sic pro­gram.

Since 1933, Villa Vic­to­ria has been pre­par­ing young women to EHFRPH VPDrW, VWrRnJ, FRn­fiGHnW lead­ers. Villa Vic­to­ria Academy is lo­cated on the Delaware River in Ewing, N.J., min­utes from the Scud­der Falls bridge.
