On Sunday at Council Rock South, the unbeaten wrestler took the top prize at 138 pounds and was one of only two area grapplers to capture championship belts at the highly competitive tourney attended by some of the top teams in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware Dnd 9LrJLnLD.

Two wrestlers from CR 6RuWh finLVhHd fRurWh, starting with junior Nick Palmer who made his way WR WhH TuDrWHrfinDOV Ln WhH 106-pound bracket only to drop a 6-4 decision to Northampton sophomore 0LFhDHO 6FhHHWz.
Palmer wrestled back with a pair of decision wins before dropping a 6-3 decision WR 3DrNODnd’V -DFRE LLzDN. The lightweight division was won by Forest Park’s Tommy Aloi, who won by the same margin over SoODnFR’V CRnnRr 6hHHhDn.
,n WhH 113-SRund ErDFNHW, CR South junior Danny Martoccio also made it as far as the quarters where he lost a 9-5 decision to NorrLVWRZn’V ZDFh )uHnWHV. CR North junior Tim Ambacher went 3-2 in the tourney in the 126-pound ErDFNHW, SLnnLnJ Ln hLV firVW bout then losing by fall Ln WhH VHFRnd. ,n ZrHVWOHbacks, Tim registered a win by tech-fall and another via dHFLVLRn EHfRrH findLnJ hLPself on the wrong side of a turn by Frank in the second period of his bout with the 2-5 ZrHVWOHr.

Callender fell to sixth place however, after dropping a pair of 5-2 decisions to Cape Henlopen’s Tom Ott and Don Shovestull, of :HVWPRnW HLOOWRS.
