Police searching for suspect in armed robbery of Wells Fargo

Staff reports LOWER MAKEFIELD - Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank at 706 Stony HLOO 5RDG Rn -Dn. 18. 3ROLFH were called to the bank at approximat­ely 9:10 a.m.

According to police, the suspect is a white male, approximat­ely 5’ 10”, about 200 pounds and wearing a gray hoodie, gloves, a black ski mask. He was armed with a black automatic style handgun, police said.

Police said the suspect pointed the weapon at bank employees and ordered a EDnN HPSORyHH WR fiOO EDgV with cash from both the teller drawers. The man then ordered an employee, at gun point, to enter the vault for additional money.

DUI ARREST – Oxford salley and Big Oak roads, reported at 12:17 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigat­ion led to the arrest of the 27-year-old female driver from Levittown for VuVSLFLRn RI GULYLng unGHU WKH LnfluHnFH.

BURGLARv – On the 1100 block of Irving Road, reported at 4:40 p.m. Complainan­t reports unknown person(s) forced entry into the residence via a rear door and removed a pillow case and jewelry. Approximat­e value $2,000.00.

RETAIL THEFT: On the 1600 block of Big Oak Road, at Kohl’s, reported at 7:01 p.m. Loss Prevention detained a 32-year-old female from Morrisvill­e for taking $62.01 worth of merchandis­e without paying. She was taken into custody by police.

RETAIL THEFT: On the 1600 block of Big Oak Road, at Kohl’s, reported at 9:50 p.m. Loss Prevention detained a 21-year-old female from Feastervil­le for taking $134.44 auto, leaving the shopping center on Stony Hill Road toward Heacock Road, police said.

Detectives were called to the scene and were interviewi­ng bank employees and processing the scene for evidence. They were also culling all possible video in the area.

DUI ARREST – On the 100 block of Pine Lane, reported at 12:07a.m. Police responded to the report of a vehicle driving on the lawn. Further investigat­ion led to the arrest of the 57-year-old male driver from Morrisvill­e for GULYLng unGHU WKH LnfluHnFH.

DRUG ARREST – On the 1600 block of Big Oak Road, at Kohl’s, reported at 3:43 p.m. Loss Prevention reported a retail theft in progress. The suspect, a 38-year-old male IURP 6RuWKDPSWR­n, 1-, wDV WLSSHG RII DERuW police presence and franticall­y put items back. He was detained and patted down. A glass pipe with suspected crack cocaine was found on his person. He was taken into FuVWRGy Ey SROLFH DnG FKDUgHG wLWK GHfiDnW trespass and possession of crack cocaine and drug parapherna­lia.
