Truman Tigers roar at Panther Duals

Steve Given’s Truman High School wrestling team impressed last Saturday by finishing second at the Panther auals at the William Tennent High School.

Truman, which is now N4NN, opened with a 44-PN win over two-time Bicentenni­al ieague EBAi) and aistrict One-AA Champion iower joreland and a SN-N2 romp against bast Stroudsbur­g North.

After falling to Northeast by the score of 44-2S, Truman rebounded to defeat Plymouth-Whitemarsh, 4S-2T and George Washington, 4P-PN.

Standout NMS-pounder aylan Nuttal continued his outstandin­g wrestling for Truman and went 5-M to raise his record to a glittering PM-M.

Also going 5-M on the day were junior gason jcGrogan EN9-NN at NNP) and freshman austin Stone E24-5 at NP2).

Compiling 4-N records for Truman were NSM-pound junior gesse Huber E24-5), NTM-pounder gake Goodman ENT-T) and NTM-pound junior gordan iivingston.

Goodman’s day included three pins working the mat at N95 and 22M pounds. gunior goe Schiotis went 2-2 and is 2M-T on the season wrestling at N45 and N52 pounds.
