Tuesday, June 4

ATTEMmTED FRAUD -A resident of markview Way called to report that she received a call from an unknown person who indicated they were calling from Comcast and told the resident that a representa­tive from Comcast would be coming to the residence on Wednesday, June 5 to install software. When the resident asked for details of the installati­on she became suspicious with the answers and the caller terminated the call. The resident did not provide any personal informatio­n to the caller, but did contact Comcast who had no record of the call or a work order in the area.

TeEFT - At approximat­ely 3 p.m. police were dispatched to the area of Wrightstow­n Auto Body to meet with a technician from ATCT Wireless. The tech reported the theft of copper ground wire from the cell tower on the property. The value of the wire is un-

DUI CeARdES mENDINd - molice were dispatched to the area of Newtown-vardley Road and menns Trail at approximat­ely 12:35 a.m. for a report of an occupied vehicle in the URDGwDy EORFNLnJ WUDIfiF. ThH FDOOHU WROG GLVpatch that people at the scene were attempting to wake the sole occupant in the car but all the doors were locked and the man was not reVSRnGLnJ. ThH fiUVW RIfiFHU WR DUULYH IRunG WhDW the vehicle was running with the headlights on and the man in the driver’s seat appeared to be sleeping. It took approximat­ely six minutes before the driver woke and acknowledg­ed SROLFH SUHVHnFH. ThH PDn wDV LGHnWLfiHG DV 45-year-old Steven Becker of Concord Lane in vardley was taken into custody and transporte­d to St. Mary Medical Center where blood was drawn and will be submitted to the crime lab for analysis. DUI charges are pending the results of the blood work.

MISSINd DIAmER BAd - Shortly after 6:30 p.m. a resident of Newtown Township came to police headquarte­rs to report that she had accidental­ly left her black diaper bag at Roberts Ridge mark earlier in the day. When she went back to try and locate it, it was gone. She met a woman who told her that another lady found the bag and said that she was going to take it to the municipal building and turn it Ln. ThH RIfiFHU FhHFNHG WhH 1HwWRwn EuLOGLnJ and with Newtown Borough molice, but did not locate the bag.

Damage was estimated at A200.

Monday, June 3

TeEFT FROM sEeICLE - 165 Township Road at the Northampto­n Township Senior Citizen Center. The victim reported an unknown actor smashed a side window on her vehicle that was parked in the lot and stole her pocketbook. The purse contained approximat­ely A300 in cash, a checkbook, ID, and credit cards.

TRwnVhLS SROLFH RIfiFHUV SLFNHG Schilling up from mhiladelph­ia and returned her to headquarte­rs where she was processed before being arraigned via video before District Judge Schnell. She was remanded to the Bucks County Correction­al Facility in lieu of A20,000 (10 percent) bail. The charges stem from a theft that had occurred at a home on Eisenhard Drive where Schilling had been working as a homecare nurse.
