Initially conceived as a nursing home by its nuaker founders, Chandler Hall has grown steadily since opening its doors in March 1973. The continuum of care now includes residential living, personal care, nursing care and hospice accommodations.

Values rooted in nuaker principles led Kendal to establish a federal-type governance system that blends autonomy with shared strengths. Each Kendal community is an independently owned and operated not-forSrofiW orgDQLzDWLoQ wLWK LWV owQ volunteer board.
