Tuesday, June 25

FUNNY MlNbY - At approximat­ely 10:30 a.m. police responded to McCaffrey’s Market to meet with the manager, who turned over a counterfei­t A100 bill. The manager told police that the currency was passed in the store sometime over the weekend. The situation remains under investigat­ion.

RbTAIL THbFT - Around 1:30 p.m. police returned to McCaffrey’s Market for report of a retail theft that had just occurred. The manager on duty told responding offiFHUV WKDW D IHPDOH DSSURxLmat­ely 30-years-old was in the store and spoke with numerous employees about a burn on her leg, asking about medication­s for her injury. She put numerous items in a shopping basket and left the store without paying for the merchandis­e.

Friday, June 28

DUI CHARGbS PbNDING - While on patrol on Richboro Road around 1:45 D.P. Dn RIfiFHU REVHUYHG D vehicle exit the parking lot of the 7-11 at a high rate RI VSHHG. 7KH RIfiFHU DWWHPSWHG WR LnLWLDWH D WUDIfiF stop, but the driver of the vehicle ignored the sirens and emergency lights and turned from Richboro Road onto Linden Avenue. The GULYHU, wKR wDV LGHnWLfiHG as 40-year-old Randy Wittenberg of Linden Avenue, pulled in front of his home and began getting out of the FDU. 7KH RIfiFHU JDYH PuOtiple verbal commands to Wittenberg to remain in his car. Wittenberg disregarde­d the commands, hurried to the door of the home and was opening the door. The RIfiFHU FRnWLnuHG KLV RUGHUV, adding that if he didn’t stop WKH RIfiFHU wRuOG GHSORy his taser. As Wittenberg NHSW PRYLnJ, WKH RIfiFHU GHployed his taser. Wittenberg was placed in handcuffs and taken to St. Mary Medical Center to have blood drawn to be submitted to the crime lab for testing. DUI charges are pending the results.

SANDY RlAD - At approximat­ely 12:15 p.m. D PRWRULVW nRWLfiHG SROLFH that a quarry truck had lost part of the load of sand on the Newtown Bypass near Penns Trail. A crew of PennDlT workers were in the area and responded to clean up the debris.

Saturday, June 29

CRIMINAL MISCHIbF - A resident of Denton Circle called police around S:30 a.m. to report that at some point overnight someone had thrown eggs, hitting his house and his vehicle that was parked in his driveway.

THbFT FRlM sbHICLb – A resident from Lehigh Drive reported that unknown actor(s) had entered two of the family’s vehicles that were parked in the driveway, at least one of which had been left unsecured. Found to have been taken from the vehicles were a pair of sunglasses and a GPS navigation device.

Tuesday, June 25

BURGLARY - 200 block of Churchvill­e Lane. The complainan­t, who was tending the homeowner’s pets while they were away, reported that unknown actor(s) had forced open the home’s front door. sarious areas of the home had been gone through but nothing was found to have been taken.

Wednesday, June 26

CRIMINAL MISCHIbF - Howard Road. The victim reported that her vehicle had been keyed down its side. The value of the damage was not known at the time of the report.

CRIMINAL MISCHIbF - Legacy laks Drive. The property owner reported hearing a window break WKHn finGLnJ LW wDV D IURnW window on his home. The window was valued at AS00.

ARRbST - Deborah Kiernicki, 42, of 2907 Atkinson Place, was taken into custody following an investigat­ion into her having furnished “Spice” (synthetic marijuana) and alcohol to minors on numerous occa- sions at her residence. The spice was smoked and alcohol consumed by minors, in her presence and with her also partaking in the activities. Kiernicki was charged with corruption of minors and selling or furnishing liquor or malt or brewed beverages to minors. She was processed at police headquarte­rs and arraigned via video before District gudge Seaman. Kiernicki was remanded to the Bucks County Correction­al Facility in lieu of A50,000 (10 percent) bail. A condition of her release will be no contact with persons under 21 years of age.

Thursday, June 27

CRIMINAL MISCHIbF - Lehigh Drive. The complainan­t reported that while driving on Lehigh Drive his driver’s side window was struck and shattered by an unknown object. There were landscaper­s working in the area. The damage however could not be linked to their activities. No value was given for the damage.

Saturday, June 29

CRIMINAL MISCHIbF - 295 Buck Road at the Holland Barber Shop. The complainan­t reported that the glass globe on the barber pole located on the exterior of the building was broken by an unknown actor. No value was given for the glass.

CRIMINAL MISCHIbF - Tanyard Road. A property owner reported that his mailbox was broken off by unknown actor(s). Damage was estimated at A500.

Sunday, June 30

DUI

- MacFarland Ave- nue by Almshouse Road. At 4:13 D.P. RIfiFHUV UHFHLYHG a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on MacFarland Avenue by Almshouse Road with its engine running and headlights on. ln arrival RIfiFHUV IRunG WKH RSHUDWRU asleep behind the wheel. HH wDV LGHnWLfiHG DV -RVK Silverman, 32, of Richboro. lbservatio­ns of Silverman, along with his inability to successful­ly complete a seULHV RI fiHOG GHxWHULWy WHVWV, led to his being taken into custody on suspicion of having been driving while unGHU WKH LnfluHnFH. HH was transporte­d to the St. Mary Medical Center where samples of his blood were obtained for analysis before being brought to police headquarte­rs for processing. After being processed he was released to a family member. Charges relating to DUI are pending the lab report.

THbFT FRlM sbHICLb - 100 block of Forrest Drive. A delivery driver reported the theft of two quarter kegs of alcohol, one raspberry cider and the other beer, from his delivery vehicle that was parked in the 100 block of Forrest Drive. The tap handles for each of the kegs was also taken along with an adjustable wrench. The cargo area of the vehicle was unlocked at the time. The total value of the items taken was estimated to be A230.

CRIMINAL MISCHIbF - 500 block of Sugartree Road. The vehicle owner reported that two door handles on his vehicle had been broken by unknown actor(s) in an apparent attempt to gain access. No value was given for the damage.
