Truman quarterback Jake wolna threw an interception with T:45 to go in the quarterI which Upper Dublin signal-caller John Derr eventually turned into a 15-yard touchdown pass to Reed RapineI giving the Cardinals a T-0 lead.
“lur kids are playing aggressivelyI” ptover said. “YRu sHH fiYH RU sLx Juys Rn a tackle every playI which is good for a young team. Creating turnovers is going to help us immensely as the season goes on.”

That was huge for usI especially because it came so late in a quarter where we had success.”
Points became sparse from that point forward. The Truman defense settled down and played better in the second halfI while the Upper Dublin defense continued to keep the Tigers out of the end zone. The only other scoring play came 9:41 left in the game when Truman running back Manny Fisher plowed in a one-yard touchdown runI avoiding a complete shutout.
