Soliciting … Three mhiladelphia men were cited for soliciting without a permit after they were found soliciting business for an energy company in the 100 block of Logan Avenue, North Hills, at 2W13 p.m. Sept. 15, police said. Ackeem J. matterson, 20, of the 6200 block of Large Street, mhiladelphia, the men’s supervisor who had dropped them off in North Hills, was called to come pick them up, and a check showed he was driving with a suspended license and he will be cited by mail, police said.
DUI pending … Charges of driving under the influence are pending against Arsenio Tome, 90, of the 7800 block of Roanoke Street, mhiladel- phia, following a traffic stop at 2W53 p.m. Sept. 14, police said. An officer conducting a speed patrol in a school zone on Fort tashington Avenue at Hawthorne Lane clocked Tome driving at 40.8 mph in the school zone and pulled him over, police said. A mBT showed the presence of alcohol and Tome was transported to Holy Redeemer Hospital for a blood test and charges are pending the results, police said.
DUI pending … Charges of driving under the LNfluHNFH DUH SHNGLNJ against Robyn A. Farr, 50, of the 200 block of Roy Avenue, Abington, after she was pulled over for reckless driving at 7W49 p.m. Sept. 13, police said. Farr’s vehicle matched the description of a reportedly reckless driver at Fitzwatertown and Susquehanna roads and she was pulled over on Susquehanna between minetown and Dillon roads, police said. Farr showed signs of intoxication and she was transported to Holy Redeemer Hospital for a blood test and charges are pending the results, police said.
Man injured … Jerry T. teinhofer, 55, of the 1100 block of Harrowgate tay, Ambler, was injured Sept. 13 in a two-vehicle accident at telsh and Jarrettown roads, police said. Brendan B. Fisher, 22, of the 600 block of Tall mines Lane, Horsham, was stopped at a red light eastbound on telsh at 7W18 p.m. when he thought his light turned green, though it was only the left-turn arrow, and he began to accelerate and struck the motorcycle in front of him operated by teinhofer, knocking him off the bike and onto the roadway, police said. teinhofer was transported by Ambler Ambulance to Abington Memorial Hospital.
