The Fort tash­ing­ton Busi­ness As­so­ci­a­tion will hold its an­nual “State of the Fort tash­ing­ton lf­fiFH 3DUN” PHHWLQg 6HSW. 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hol­i­day Inn in Fort Wash­ing­ton, with Up­per Dublin Town­ship Man­ager Paul Leonard as the pre­sen­ter. A buf­fet lunch is avail­able for FWBA mem­bers; an RSVP is needed for an ap­pro­pri­ate head count for the cater­ing staff. Net­work­ing be­gins at 11:30 a.m., and the meet­ing/lunch be­gins at noon. Prospec­tive mem­bers are in­vited as guests. Self in­tro­duc­tions at ev­ery meet­ing. Mon­tCoLyme will hold its free monthly Sept. 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 211 S. Main St., North Wales. Denise Lang-Grant Ed.S., L.P.C., au­thor and li­censed ther­a­pist, will speak on Lyme dis­ease and PTSD (post trau­matic stress dis­or­der) — how they in­ter­sect, the emo­tional re­ac­tions and be­hav­iors that can re­sult and how to be­gin heal­ing the spirit as well as the body. Her nine books in­clude “How to Stop Your Rel­a­tives from Driv­ing You Crazy,” “Cop­ing with Lyme Dis­ease” and “The Phan­tom Spouse.” She serves as ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor of the trauma and rape cri­sis cen­ter for At­lantic Health Sys­tems and is an ad­junct pro­fes­sor for Se­ton Hall Univer­sity’s mas­ter’s in coun­sel­ing pro­gram. At­ten­dees should re­frain from wear­ing any scent (per­fumes, cologne, lo­tions, oils) as some par­tic­i­pants ex­pe­ri­ence hy­per­sen­si­tiv­ity to smells and/or have chem­i­cal sen­si­tiv­i­ties.

The lut­door dar­d­en­ers gar­den club presents its fall 2012 eyper­t­ufa Trough tork­shop lct. 11 at 10:30 a.m. in Fort Wash­ing­ton. Cost is A20 for one 12-by-14-inch rec­tan­gu­lar or one 12-inch round trough. Or make two troughs, and the cost for the sec­ond is A15. Troughs are made in the fall, so they can cure out­side over the win­ter in prepa­ra­tion for spring plant­ing. Ma­te­ri­als pro­vided, in­clud­ing dis­pos­able gloves. Please bring a trowel.
