Burglary … A home in the 1200 block of Hoffman Road in the Ambler section of the township was burglarize­d between 7:1R a.m. and 2:42 p.m. Sept. 28, police said. A side door was forced to gain entry and the rooms on the second flRRU WHUH UDQVDFNHG, WLWH A100 cash, gold jewelry and a jewelry box taken, police said. The break-in is believed to be related to four similar burglaries that occurred in September, police said.

Hit-and-run … The operator of a Honda Civic reported at 7:21 a.m. Oct. 1 that while eastbound on Susquehann­a a black vehicle turned left onto Fort Washington in his path and he was unable to avoid striking the passenger side of the vehicle, police said. The other vehicle failed to stop and exchange informatio­n with the victim, police said.

Plate stolen … A dealership registrati­on plate, J62-77RJ, was reported stolen Oct. 1 from Mercedes-Benz of Fort Washington, 1401 Dreshertow­n Road, police said. Around 9 a.m., an employee saw a black solvo wagon with heavy window tint occupied by an undetermin­ed number of males circling the parking lot, and when he attempted to contact the occupants, the vehicle left the lot at a high rate of speed and the plate was discovered missing afterward, police said.

Hit-and-run … Courtney J. Dudney, 27, of the 6600 block of Blakmore Street, Philadelph­ia, was slightly injured Sept. 27 when her vehicle was struck by a hit-and-run driver at R:R0 p.m. on Fitzwatert­own Road at Anzac Avenue, police said. Dudney was southbound on Fitzwatert­own when he slowed and began to turn left onto Anzac and his vehicle was struck by a red Honda operated by a male turning left off Anzac, police said. The Honda, which should have damage to the driver’s side front bumper, then left the scene at a high rate of speed, police said.

Hit-and-run … A 200R Toyota parked in the lot at Prudential, 2101 Welsh Road, at 9:1R a.m. Sept. 27 was found with damage to the rear bumper at 11 a.m., police said.

Break-in attempt … An attempt was made to break into a Ford pickup parked in the lot at LA Fitness on sirginia Drive Sept. 2R, police said. The victim reSRUWHG fiQGLQJ GDPDJH WR WHH driver’s side door cylinder at 2:2R p.m., police said.

ID theft … A resident reported Sept. 2R that she discovered her ATM debit card was missing after being told her bank account had less than A10 in it, police said. The bank had a record of two fraudulent transactio­ns made in Philadelph­ia Sept. 24, police said.

DUI … Pamela S. Bonnet, 40, of the 1000 block of Fitzwatert­own Road, Roslyn, was charged with drivLQJ UQGHU WHH LQflUHQFH DIWHU DQ RIfiFHU REVHUVHG HHU GULVing erraticall­y and pulled her over at 11:49 p.m. Sept. 2R at Susquehann­a and Twining roads, police said. A strong odor of alcohol was coming from the vehicle and Bonnet had bloodshot eyes, police said. Her vehicle registrati­on was under suspension and her Massachuse­tts license had been suspended, police said. She was transporte­d to Upper Moreland Police Department for a chemical breath test, which measured a 0.277 percent BAC, police said.

DUI … Michal E. Szot, 38, of the 2800 block of Rossiter Avenue, Abington, was charged with driving under WHH LQflUHQFH 6HSW. 30 DIWHU being pulled over at 12:R8 a.m. at Highland Avenue and Pinetown Road for driving with an expired registrati­on, police said. Szot showed signs of intoxicati­on, failed fiHOG VREULHWY WHVWV DQG WDV taken to Upper Moreland Police Department for a chemical breath test, which measured a 0.132 percent BAC, police said.

Two injured … Topaz Webb, 27, of the 800 block of West Wellens Avenue, Philadelph­ia, and a passenger in her vehicle, Chantel McWilliams, 31, of the 7400 block of Tulpehocke­n Street, Philadelph­ia, were injured Sept. 29 in a two-vehicle accident at 3:R0 p.m. at Welsh and Twining roads, police said. Herman Flores-nueriapa, 20, of Reading, was eastbound on Welsh when he tried to stop for a red light, but his brakes locked and he struck Webb’s vehicle, which was attempting to turn left onto Welsh from Twining with a green light,

police said. He was cited for a red light violation, police said. Webb was transporte­d by Second Alarmers to Abington Memorial Hospital, police said.

Passenger injured … Charles Lucas, 23, of the unit block of Orange Lane, Ambler, a passenger in a vehicle operated by Josephine M. Mucker, 21, of the R00 block of Loch Alsh Avenue, Ambler, was slightly injured Sept. 27 in a three-vehicle accident at Dreshertow­n Road and Limekiln Pike, police said. Mucker was northbound on sirginia and entered the intersecti­on as the light began to turn from green to red and she collided with a vehicle southbound on Dreshertow­n operated by a 17-year-old girl of the unit block of Eves Place, Wil- low drove, who attempted to turn left on the yellow light, police said. Steven R. Rodemich, 31, of the 2900 block of East County Line Road, Hatboro, said he was sitting at the light on Limekiln waiting for a green light when one of the vehicles involved in the accident as well as debris struck his vehicle, damaging his driver’s side, headlights, grille and hood, police said. a controlled substance and possession of parapherna­lia in connection with an armed robbery called in by Edinger at 8:R1 a.m. Sept. 28, police said. Edinger called 911 and reported that a white male in his 20s, between R-foot-3 and R-foot-6, approximat­ely 1R0 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, a black sweatshirt, white sneakers, a red ball cap under the hoodie and a scarf over his face entered the 7-Eleven, went right to the register, implied he had a gun and demanded money, police said. The cashier handed over all the money in the UHJLVWHU DnG WKH DFWRU flHG on foot, police said.

Through the investigat­ion, police were able to determine that the robber was D IHPDOH, ODWHU LGHnWLfiHG DV voung, and was working with Edinger, police said. The two women were arraigned by District Judge Margaret Hunsicker and remanded to Montgomery County Correction­al Facility in lieu of A2R,000 cash bail, police said.

Solla appeared to be intoxicate­d and was taken to Mercy Suburban Hospital for a blood test and charges, including DUI, driving under susSHnVLRn DnG WUDIfiF RIIHnVes, are pending the results, police said.

Retail theft … Lupita Solis, 46, and her mother, Maria Acereto-Solis, 73, both of the 900 block of Cherry Lane, Lansdale, were charged with retail theft around 3:1R p.m. Sept. 29 after concealing jewelry and clothing and leaving hohl’s Department Store, 1301 Skippack Pike, without paying for them, police said. AceretoSol­is had A239.R0 worth of merchandis­e and Lupita Solis was in possession of A194.86 worth of merchandis­e, police said. Both were arraigned by District Judge John hessler and released on their own recognizan­ce, police said.

Disorderly conduct … Brian Laksh, 22, of the 900 block of salley Road, was cited for disorderly conduct Sept. 30 after an RIfiFHU Rn SDWURO REVHUYHG four males standing at the intersecti­on of Dehalb and Skippack pikes at 2:22 a.m. and noticed that one of them was urinating in the bushes of the Sunoco das Station at 889 Dehalb, police said.

Hit-and-run … Around 9:10 p.m. Sept. 30, police were called to the 1700 block of Pulaski Drive for a report of a hit-and-run, police said. The striking vehicle is believed to be a Honda sedan and the passenger’s side rearview mirror was located at the scene, police said. There should be other minor damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle. Anyone with informatio­n regarding the accident is asked to call Whitpain Township Police at 610279-9033.
