Rpper Dublin topples Norristown

wants to be.

“:H DUH GHfiQLWHOY SURgressingI but there is still a lot of work to doI” Derr said. “te are coming together. Not many of us had the experience and we were all over the placeI but after fiVH WHHNV WH DUH JHWWLQJ better.”

Though Derr spent his entire sophomore season without a snap at the varsity levelI he has been surrounded by a pretty good person to ask questions. Derr is replacing older brother Andrew at quarterback and defensive back.

“Andrew was a huge leader on this team and a big factorI” the current quarterback said. “I have VRPH WRXJK VKRHV WR fiOO, especially with the leadership. If I do something wrong he’ll tell me. I have learned a lot from watching him. Andrew has been there for me.”

It’s easy to say as the quarterback goesI as will Cardinals EP-2I N-NFI but Stover was pleased with the discipline his entire team showed in its win over the Eagles EN-4I N-NF. As long as they keep moving the chains in the right direction this seasonI this young group will have a lot to be excited about.

“This is only Johnny’s fiIWK VWDUW, VR WH DUH WUYLQJ not to give him too much too soonI” Stover said. “He can hurt you both waysI with his feet and with his arm. He is going to be tough to stop over the next fiVH WHHNV.”

“te hit a speed bump and our kids took it to heart. te had a real good week of practice and it showed. Our captains did a nice job of leading us. te still have not played a perfect game and that is something to shoot for.”
