The Outdoor Gardeners garden club presents its fall 2012 Hypertufa Trough Workshop Oct. 11 at 10:30 a.m. in Fort Washington. Cost is $20 for one 12-by-14-inch rectangular or one 12-inch round trough. Or make two troughs, and the cost for the second is $15. Troughs are made in the fall, so they can cure outside over the winter in preparation for spring planting. Materials provided, including disposable gloves. Please bring a trowel. We will be working outside in a sunny area. Wear old clothes, no jewelry or watches. Class size limited.
